Our
Systems
Performance Rated (PR) Cushion Systems
Swish Floors installs Performance Rated (PR) cushion systems designed to reduce impact, improve player comfort and deliver consistent performance across high-use indoor sports facilities. These systems are engineered to meet strict performance and safety standards, making them suitable for school courts, community facilities, competitive venues and stadium environments. Options range from efficient entry-level systems through to fully engineered solutions capable of supporting heavy loads and intensive use.
PR1 and PR2 systems provide reliable shock absorption and stability for lower to mid-use facilities, with PR2 incorporating an additional structural plywood layer to improve surface consistency and eliminate dead spots. The PR3 system delivers enhanced uniform resiliency, improved load distribution and reduced noise transfer, making it suitable for higher-performance venues. The PR3 Hi-Load Cushion System is the most premium option offered by Swish Floors, designed to accommodate the highest load ratings, including retractable seating, heavy point loads and frequent equipment movement in multi-use stadium environments.
Stump Thrust (ST) Systems
Stump Thrust systems are designed for projects where slab construction is impractical due to site constraints such as slope, soil conditions or clearance limitations. These raised flooring systems are independently engineered for each project, providing flexibility without compromising performance, safety or durability.
ST systems incorporate engineered framing, cushioned brackets and structural plywood layers to deliver consistent resiliency and effective load handling. ST2 systems offer improved comfort and stability over traditional pier-and-joist construction, while ST3 systems provide enhanced structural performance for venues incorporating retractable seating or heavy equipment. Stump Thrust systems are commonly used in sports halls, stadiums and complex builds requiring tailored structural solutions.
Vari-Cushion System
The Vari-Cushion system is a versatile, high-performance flooring solution that uses a two-stage shock absorption design to deliver exceptional comfort and safety across a wide range of activities. A continuous recycled polyurethane foam layer absorbs lighter impacts, while heavier loads engage both the foam and advanced cushion pads to provide controlled energy return and consistent performance.
This system exceeds international performance benchmarks and is well suited to multipurpose environments where flexibility is essential. It is commonly specified for basketball, netball, aerobics, dance studios and indoor sports halls requiring a balance of performance, durability and user comfort.
Built for Compliance, Safety and Longevity
Every Swish Floors installation is designed to meet relevant Australian Standards, international performance criteria and sport-specific governing body requirements. We work closely with engineers, architects and facility managers to deliver floors that perform today and remain serviceable for decades.
