The Glide Series is a modern retractable seating system engineered for quiet operation, strength and ease of use. Its advanced slant frame geometry enhances stability and durability while allowing smooth, low-noise deployment and retraction, making it highly practical for facilities with frequent changeovers.

Glide seating systems are designed and certified to meet rigorous Australian and international structural, seismic and safety standards. Each system provides individual seating positions for every spectator, eliminating platform seating and improving comfort. A range of seating styles can be integrated, including bench, contoured and upholstered options.

The optional Variable Row One (VR1) adds flexibility by allowing the front row to function as team seating, semi-storage or compliant accessible seating for wheelchair users and companions.

SBS Seating

SBS seating is a versatile and practical option for gyms, schools and multi-purpose facilities. Elevated seating improves comfort, provides additional leg room and separates spectators from foot traffic areas.

Grandstand Seating

Grandstand seating solutions from Swish Floors are designed to suit a wide range of community recreation facilities, sporting venues and event spaces, offering flexibility, durability and long-term performance. We deliver fixed, portable and mobile grandstands for both indoor and outdoor environments, with options ranging from compact units through to large-scale stadium seating. Each system is individually designed to suit the venue, ensuring safe access, elevated sightlines and efficient use of available space.

Grandstands can be configured with a variety of seating options, including aluminium plank bleachers, individual UV-stabilised polymer seats or upholstered bench seating. Configurations may include platform-mounted or riser-mounted seating, with low or high backs, tip-up seats and customised layouts to suit crowd capacity and comfort requirements. Portable tip-and-roll grandstands offer a practical solution where space is limited, allowing seating to be easily relocated around sports fields, parks and recreation areas. Riser mounted seating, including the Brighton Seat, is well suited to event centres and auditoriums where comfort and presentation are important. This option delivers a refined appearance and improved spectator comfort for larger audiences and formal settings.

Travelling seating units allow venues to reconfigure spaces efficiently. Power-operated systems enable smooth forward and backward movement, making it easy to adapt the atmosphere and layout for different events. Recessed seating units maximise space by utilising areas beneath viewing galleries or mezzanines, with the option to integrate mezzanine access where required.

A 220-seat Glide retractable seating system was installed at Palmview State Primary School in Queensland, providing flexible, space-efficient spectator seating designed to support school sport, events and daily facility use.
